A Summer Celebration

By Sue Trollip

Morning mist sighs

Heat. Rain.

Green grass aromas.

Blossoming trees. Flowers

Slops. Berries.

Naked arms.

Slowly. Sporadically. Teasing.

The sweet sweet slither of approaching summer.

What a beautiful way for summer to approach Sue. I love your choice of words and imagery.

    • Sue says:

Thanks Jac. It’s different to the norm of sweat and air-cons and lethargy, and also the sun on the sea, and Jacarandas.

  2. Susan says:

Lovely, Sue. Summer must be beautiful where you are.

    • Sue says:

You’ll be stepping into summer soon too. And it’s great not to have a winter, in more ways than one.
